In the late 90's the internet was under threat of censorship in the United States, the EFF got together and launched an awareness campaign using a blue ribbon, and banners of a blue theme, on websites and worn on lapels to raise human rights issues of censorship in the mainstream realm.
Ten years on, and our Government are putting us through the same thing, so we felt it's time to bring back a time honoured campaign! Although we had to conceded that ribbons aren't too contemporary as far as fashion goes, thus the Blue Button Campaign was launched!
For more information on the Blue Button Campaign, and how you can help raise awareness of serious censorship issues in your day to day life with no effort, please see http://www.bluebutton.org.au
